My very first photoshop class was taught by Tom Tuttle. I don’t remember exactly what he said but it was something along these lines:
“Do for a living whatever it is you would do even if no one paid you.”
My grammer is obviously bad but the idea being that you should love what you do for your job. I took this to heart and began this web and graphic design business. I love doing design. I love color, shape, texture and composition.
Someone said to me last week “I would love to do what you do” and I said, “So would I.” I feel so lucky to do what I do and then I actually get paid for it.
