Over the course of 2012, we will be ending out hosting services.
From Wikipedia: “A denial-of-service attack (DoS attack) or distributed denial-of-service attack (DDoS attack) is an attempt to make a computer or network resource unavailable to its intended users. Although the means to carry out, motives for, and targets of a DoS attack may vary, it generally consists of the concerted efforts of a person, or multiple people to prevent an Internet site or service from functioning efficiently or at all, temporarily or indefinitely.”
We grew weary of fighting the DoS attacks. We’re in good company, many big servers were hit last year: Mastercard, WikiLeaks, WordPress. DoS attacks are on the rise.
We’re keeping web and design services, only the hosting is going away. So after 10+ years of hosting, we’re referring hosting elsewhere.
